If you have seen Leone's movie you know that the Good isn't only good, nor the Bad is only bad. Same applies to our friend the Ugly... In fact in today's hipsters circles his huge mustache would have made him leader of the gang most likely...
Musically, this set undoubtedly offers the largest variety of Deep House. Acid, D&B and Dubstep influences, Chicago's and NY's interpretations of Deep House, the funkyness of Andres' and Moodyman's productions and finally Chez Damier with "Close". This record is most likely the one best reflecting what Deep House means to me. It's dance music but with the ability to create an emotion in the listener. And the reason for that is it's Soul. The warmth in the male lead vocal, the beautiful female chorus, the slight melancholy the instrumentation creates, the countless little details in the production. For me a track reaching perfection.
