BRITISH HOUSE LOVER in JAPAN.
I was especially fascinated by the house sound of DTPM, a gay mix party held on Sundays at the famous club THE END in the late 90s. There, various house sounds were played as sexy, funky and deep underground house, from UK garage/speed garage to MAW, uplifting house, NY-style tribal hard house and tech house, and I came to love all of those styles.
