In December 1979 Matthias B. aka (Dj) Moonray was born in (east) Berlin. His first contact with electronic music was in 1990 with bands like "Front 242", "And One" and further more. Since 1996 he's been exploring the underground clubs of Berlins famous Techno scene, always looking for new inspiring sounds.
In 2001 Moonray traveled to Canada and discovered by a lucky chance some unique Psytrance gatherings deep in the Canadian outback. He was instantly fascinated by this special kind of “open minded” people and even by the deepness and the wide range of psychedelic trance music.
In 2006 Moonray starts deejaying Psytrance and Full On strictly focusing on strong warm basslines and trippy psychedelic leads. He performed at Hive Festival, Neelix & Friends Showcase and other gatherings around Germany alongside Psytrance legends Infected Mushroom, Neelix, Imagine Mars, Faders, Cubixx, Symphonix, Schrittmacher and many more… always taken the crowd by storm with his mystic and vibrant set’s.
