I am a Brazilian self-taught musician, sound designer, multi instrumentalist and minimalist electronic music composer. I began my music activities at 11 years old as a drummer and percussionist. By the age of 16 I got involved with synthesizers and sequencers. Currently I am dedicated to theremin and modular synthesizers.
In 2004 I started collaborating with artists from the field of live arts: Theater, Performance and Dance. That led me to create several music and sound design for dance pieces by choreographers such as: Cristian Duarte, Tarina Quelho, Eduardo Fukushima, Sheila Ribeiro, Alejandro Ahmed, Vera Sala, Trajal Harrell, Marcelo Evelin among others. During that experience I perceived my composition approaches embracing a choreographic mode of thinking, making movement a more decisive agent in my technical choices, allowing music to be crossed by emotional, cognitive and technical accidents.
