The word crow in Hebrew (Orev) means guardian which refer to the mutual responsibility that crows share among each other.
Modest crow is Asaf Herrmann, was born in Haifa, Israel, where he grew up playing guitar and drums. At the age of 22, after his first Techno party in Tel Aviv, feat. Boris Brejcha, Modest Crow felt something amazing. The experience left a strong impact on him, curiosity to produce electronic music.
Tel Aviv looked like the answer but, it was only a temporary stop before landing in Berlin, The Mecca of Techno.
Since then Asaf played in Ritter Butzke and became a resident in Birgit & Bier; all the while producing Melodic Techno and collaborating with the Berliner Duo “Techno Frühstück”.
You will find Modest Crow’s music Deep and Bassy with fresh melodies that provide a story, a vivid portrait into an electronic soundscape.
Some would say “Deep melodic Techno” but many other elements from other genres are happily thrown to this musical mosaic.
