Moddaw is a Lesotho born and Ficksburg based recording and performing trap artist. He was first introduced to HipHop in the early 2000s and started recording his own music in 2008. He has since grown as a musician and has tapped into a variety of musical genres including dancehall, rnb and kwaito. As music is ever evolving, he started off as a rapper but has now switched to the new age genre of Trap music also known as EDM which is a sub-genre of HipHop. While he speaks Sesotho as his first language, his music is widely written in English with small patches of Sesotho here and there. His style would simply be put as a mixture of at least three music styles that are dance music, hiphop and dub. As unique as any artist would try to be, Moddaw has been inspired over time by the likes of american trap sensations like Future, Young Thug and T.I.

His most recent release is a fourteen track trap album called King Solomoni released on 4th October 2017.
