DJ Mo has longed to be a DJ since the age of 11. This burning desire came through his great love of all things dance. One style really gave him the passion that has marked his success, Crossing RnB & House. It was the unique combination of funky beats, heart pounding bass and sexy vocals that really inspired Mo to want to don the decks and tear the roof off clubs everywhere.
With that, he started to buy vinyl’s and save for his first set of decks! In 1990, he finally managed to gather enough cash together to buy a basic mixing package and started to blend the music he loved. And so by mixing RnB vocals over house music, it was not long before, the mix tapes gained in quality and in turn, the people began to take notice.
He began building on this by getting private bookings for private functions, then, as he gained in popularity, larger bookings began to come his way. Mo kept Djing at private venues and keeping his record collection stacked, he got his first bre
