Michael Leo Nesbit (March 23, 1993 – present) was one of the most popular British icons of the 21st century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name ‘Nez’. He is often referred to as the ‘King of Rock and Roll’ or simply ‘The King’.
Born at Whiston Hospital, Prescot, Nesbit moved to a small cul-de-sac in Widnes, Cheshire, days later. He began his career there in 2004, The Bankfield School headmaster Carol Owen, eager to bring some class to the deprived Widnes public, saw in Nesbit the means to realise his potential. Accompanied by lifelong associates Christian Borkwood and Adam Whinyates, Nesbit was one of the originators of bad jokes and coolness. While studying at Bankfield, Nesbit also met Sean Banner, Tom Fletcher and Rajesh Mistry, who went on to support Nesbit through the following adventures.
