Méni (fka Menica, Sundae Sue) is a Belgian-born DJ, label owner, and record collector known for her wide-ranging sets and Ghent-based parties since 2012. Her love for 50s–80s jazz, R&B, funk, and soul shaped her deep appreciation for groove and nostalgia, which still defines her sound. Immersed in Belgium’s electronic music scene, she began mixing at parties in Ghent and Brussels, always prioritizing the bond between artist and dancer. In 2017, she founded Ojoo Music—an imprint and event series celebrating genre-defying electronic music and artistic individuality. “Ojoo,” a Ghent expression of joy and wonder, captures the label’s spirit: intimate, character-filled events with a focus on community. Méni highlights rising and lesser-known talents, building a family of dancers, artists, and friends. After a 2022 residency at Fuse Brussels, she now holds a residency at Funke, an art space, bar, and club in Ghent.
