Doobz has been DJing for the past 23 years. Vowing for many years she would never stop using her 1210’s - she went digital aged 40 and the set up in her kitchen puts many venues to shame.
She founded Deeprinse in 2001, a weekly audio-visual stream broadcast on PirateTV, a streaming channel from the Ninja Tunes stable. It ran for 7 years, gaining listeners from all over the world. This grew into a monthly club night at The Blue Mountain Club in Bristol.
Highlights: She’s played Glastonbury twice, alongside the likes of Adam Freeland and Cakeboy, the Dogstar in London with Matt Black and DJ JenJen, and Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach with the Plump DJs, High Contrast and Rennie Pilgrem. Most likely to fangirl over: Stanton Warriors
Mostly playing breaks and house but anything with an awesome B line and funky beat, Mistress Doobz will make you smile and surprise you with the passion and skill that shines through every mix.
She may be tiny but there’s nothing small about the tunes she plays…
