Mission RIEV under the aegis of IIRD has come up with a range of organic products like RIEV ECO Green and Organic Manure in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The developments in science and technology, have sufficiently contributed to the improvement of soil conditions, nutrients, water, and, plant management. In the past, the activities like growing, harvesting, and processing practices in agriculture were mainly achieved through the exploitation of natural resources, such as water and soil, along with the excessive use of chemical fertilizers. The high demand for freshwater, increasing manufacturing costs of chemical fertilizer have rightfully shed light on these unsustainable practices. The application of RIEV ECO Green and Organic Manure is important to enhance the water holding capacity of the soil. The use of RIEV ECO Green and Organic Manure is environmentally, technically, socially, and economically sustainable in practice which has been tested by farmers from all over the world.
