Currently Elaine is using her stage management skills as a founding member of The Headspace Collective. She was lead sound tech & production manager for the Domeland chill stage and Free Radio Furthur 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019.
Elaine found LPFM in Milwaukee, WI '93 & tasted mixing live- using tapes & an all-in-one stereo. At electronic dance music parties with vinyl as the media of choice she loved watching djs mix. Working in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Elaine got her first chance to mix on Technics 1200s at a art gallery/record store.
She began with drum & bass: T Power, Roni Size, Omni Trio-learned to play African hand drums too.
Eventually saved for her own Tech 12s and dove into djing at cafe/art shows/house parties in Milwaukee. Her turntables were part of Free Radio BOB which formed into the Wireless Virus Free Radio Collective.
After a break from 2000-06, and having a son in '03, House music passion & the desire for self-expression led Elaine back to djing & production.
