Mirjam Martens is based in NL and has been part of the Amsterdam Ecstatic Dance scene as a dancer and facilitator since 2011. She picked up deejaying for the conscious dance scene in 2023. ✨

Mirjam brings music from a deep listening to the body.
With one ear she listens as a dancer,
with the other as a musician.

As a DJ, she weaves acoustic and electronic sounds in her sets
into a musical landscape where dance can arise naturally.
Her sets move between the lyrical and the earthy,
between hypnotic depth and playful rhythm,
inviting dancers to feel, explore, and let go …
even within the space of not knowing.

Dance becomes a journey of discovery,
a place to play, to arrive home,
and to be carried by the music,
until the trance of the dance takes over.
