Minimal Impossible

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Originally from NYC, now based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Minimal: Impossible (Tom O'Hara) began producing techno in 1996 as Bassfactory. From 96-99 Bassfactory performed live and released three 12 inches.

After the split Tom focused on DJing, though his set up was unusual. Rather than 2 turntables and a mixer he used 3 decks, a Roland R8 drum machine and effects to remix the tracks he was playing live.
In 2006 he returned to production under the name Minimal: Impossible and since then has been steadily releasing material. After his first full length album, "Glasgow" released in 2007 on Anti-Gravity Research Labs, it was followed up by numerous EPs on his own label 15913 Music, as well as releases on Montenegro, Sirius Pandi and has appeared on many compilations.
