Established since 2003 with influences in Jackin' House, House, Deep House and Tech House, and known for her smooth style of mixing music in all genres of House. Mimi began working in the nightlife industry in San Diego as a Hostess and did it all from managing the door to promoting, and eventually, DJing at various venues and events throughout San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hawaii, and Baja California. From nightclubs like Spin (SD), bars like The Office (SD) to events like Sublevel (LA) and festivals such as Love Fest (SF), you would find her DJing or managing the door for crews like Soul On Beat, Siesta, Lady Lush, Lifted Entertainment, Giant (LA) and We Are One. She has opened for DJs like Colette, Chuck Love, Alix Alvarez, Tato, Hector Moralez, and Doc Martin. After making a decision to complete graduate school, Mimi took a break for nearly 6 years and has returned from her long hiatus. She has started a music group, 5South Records, in Tecate alongside JR Mendez.
