Millie Wissar is a Peruvian–Canadian DJ and sound artist with over two decades of experience. Her style blends melodic, deep, afro, tech house, latin bass and techno with a sound designer’s sensibility, creating immersive sets full of texture and movement. She is an Audio Director at A Shell in the Pit Audio, where her work on Thank Goodness You’re Here earned a BAFTA for Best British Game (2025). Millie has performed at festivals, clubs and cultural venues such as The Vault, Vancouver Mural Festival, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, VLAFF, Dolly Disco and The Birdhouse. She has also created live sound for expanded cinema in Elena Pardo’s Pulsos Subterráneos, with performances in Vancouver (2022), New York City (2022) and Montreal (2023). A pioneering woman in the Peruvian electronic music scene, Millie continues to shape its evolution through her multidisciplinary approach.
