Musician, producer, DJ, percussionist and electronic music enthusiast, Milan Beanz comes from Ghent, Belgium.
2004 he got inspired by James holden with his amazing remix of
“the sky was pink” by Nathan Fake and later on by the Berlin underground scene.
Never afraid to go too deep, his sounds are his own therapy.
Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of rock/Pop music (Pink Floyd, The Beatles,..), European electronica (Underworld), synth-infused 80s music (A split Second)… all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and film music, Milan ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of his music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, pulsing basslines, and occasional vocals… all on top of a minimal/house beat.
