I was born in San Diego, CA but moved to TX young enough to say I'm a TEXAN MFer! My life started at 14 though...when I was the lead singer in a Christian Ska band for 5 years, did three tours. Then college for 2 years, Los Angeles for 2 years, worked at a record label in Nashville for a short time, back to TX, started doing stand up, joined the Army, wasn't for me, back to TX, stand up, music journalism and alcoholism.
