The musical journey of Mikel Vert begins a little later, at the age 19 while listening to some house cd's mixed by some of the best dj's on the world stage, such as Frankie Knuckles, Carl Craig and Todd Terry. This influence soon transformed into an interest in experimenting with DJ software and taking things to the next level. In 2007 he started performing in small clubs from his native town, raising people awareness more and more.
Mikel started his DJ career with a wide range of influences (comercial, hip hop, soul, disco, progresive & trance) but now his sound edges towards deep atmospheres, with tech and percussive roots. All of these sounds can be heard through the music he mixes. His music is characterized by a precise mix of steady bass line, dark groove and hypnotic sounds, obtaining approval from the audience for his sophisticated sound.
