My first music lessons were on piano and guitar. In High School I met Bill Harris and he introduced me to Larry Hansen. Larry had a band in one of his rooms and Cocaine in a bottle. He also had pot and I called him after going home because he looked like a real Rock Star. Larry showed me scales to learn so I could by a soloist. Larry disappeared from Salt Lake City and Jeff Hayes (the Drummer) said something ominous to me about his disappearance. My mother went to San Francisco with a Geologist Robert T. Turner and she was very insistent that I attend College. The Pretenders were available to me because I tried out for a Pro Band and they said the University students were all stuck up. I'm one class away from a BS Degree in Exercise and Sport Science. The College said to forget tit and that Degrees were for teachers. I have a guitar at home but don't bother making recordings. I contacted the Musicians Union and they said to be patient but it's been over 10 years.
