I used the first version of Acid in the late 90s. Scored a documentary film, experimented with old-school techo, and then walked away from it. Here I am, 15-years later, using Acid Pro 7 that I bought as a distraction from writing my second book. A friend pulled me back in with his Ableton and mixing board. He also introduced me to Dubstep, which I hadn't heard of (still listening to tunes from the 60s to 80s). Dubstep sounds drew me back in. Now, I'm making the transition to Ableton 9 Live.
