In 1995, I continued my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. The following year, I was left fighting for my life due to a physical altercation that almost ended my life. I received a laceration to my neck and had a 50/50 chance to make it through. The incident increased my drive to follow my dreams and be the most creative person I could be, as an artist, Designer or Fashion Designer.
