Revolutions

This story is telling two tales in one.

In the first sense, it is an observation of the revolution of our planet around the sun. This place in time marks a very special shift for me. The Spring Equinox approaching and the inevitable rebirth of life on this half of the planet, in conjunction with my own birthday, will forever be the most special time of year to me. In a deeper, and perhaps more obvious sense, this story is about the more common use of the word. The upheaval, the unrest, the shifts and changes that come with revolutions of our cultures and world systems. "Revolutions" dives deep into the murk, getting into dark sounds that are meant to churn the psyche and bring up what hasn't yet been touched by the light. The story moves through a wide spectrum of evocative and cinematic moments. There is one track that features a woman screaming and a lot of profanity.
