MK is at once responsible for both irresistibly rhythmic, limb-numbing dance sets and for organizing the events where such entertainment can be found. Mike Kennedy (real name) is bent on demolishing the perceived boundaries of his art, circumventing the conventional avenues of success to etch out an identity as party-starter extraordinaire. After an edifying sojourn in the UK, he returned to S.A. to provide a platform for sounds not yet showcased, while polishing his skills as a visual artist. Since then he’s been behind the scenes, fronting events company Make-Believe and is the brainchild behind The Spirit Train - further illustrating that he’s more than just a DJ. Having earned his stripes in the booming caverns of London's techno scene, MK is no stranger to the underground development of electronic music. Following a particular techno crew in the UK was an obsession and he could be found supporting them in abandoned, derelict buildings weekend after weekend at illegal raves
