Marcio Hirosse is a DJ, music researcher and art director. His sets are built through a sonic research process that brings together different styles, eras and atmospheres, connecting dub, disco, post-punk, indie dance, Brazilian grooves, sound system culture, electronic music, funk, reggae, soul, acid jazz and underground audiovisual references.
With an eclectic and narrative-driven approach, his performances explore the relationship between cultural memory, dancefloor experience and sonic experimentation, combining classic tracks, rare recordings, musical collages and transitions that move between organic and electronic textures.
Influenced by visual culture, analog archives and musical research, Marcio Hirosse develops sets focused on atmosphere, identity and authorial music selection, creating immersive sonic experiences that cross different cultural languages and contexts.
