Blake Ronan (UK) is our virtual tourguide through his futuristic world of Metro City, pressing forward with notable Chicago and Detroit releases, remixes, and his radio-show of the same name, Metro City.
Steeped in a history of dance music with his roots firmly in the Chicago/Detroit traditions, Ronan started making house music in 2016 and is focused on creating machine drenched funk, producing and remixing house music, and dialling up rhythm saturated classics. It's no accident Ronan's first EP was released on Jamal Moss' Chicago Mathematics label, and he has recently cut a single with Detroit's Javonnette. Now you can hear some of Ronan's own funk driven grooves layered throughout carefully selected tracks and slick, finetuned edits in his Metro City Radio show.
