This is the official profile of Wes The Mes, aka Mes Man. He is one-half of the production team Wes Coats (Claremont 56, DC Recordings, DFA, Whatchawannado) and has performed at countless events as a DJ since 1992. Considered one of the 'elites' of the 'side rooms' at most any Los Angeles underground in the 90's, he also performed at Insomniac (now EDC), was a resident at the first Standard rooftop parties thrown by Gary Richards (founder of HARD), and headlined multiple Battery Park festivals in Koln, Germany (founded by Ingmar Koch / Walker of Air Liquide & LSB), not to mention countless festivals throughout the states and abroad. Having recently opened for The Mars Volta, LCD Soundsystem, Nightmares On Wax and countless others, his style is far from pigeon-holed, as he continues to keep his ear to the latest and greatest in all genres of music. So, expect a rather broad variety in his mixes, as he 'messes you up' like only Wes The Mes can do. : )
