Magic’s professional DJ career began in Germany with residencies at The Galaxy & Peppermint night clubs where he placed 2nd in the German International DJ Meisterschaft. After returning to the states, Magic began spinning the House scene in the D.C. area, playing at Hill Haven, Tracks, Quorum and Paradox night clubs. Returning to Chicago, he began his radio mix-show career on WGCI as a member of the “Heat Squad” with residencies at Velociti, the Mint, Club Aqua and the Prop House. He later relocated to Detroit where he began his residency at Mix Bricktown and became a member of the SONIC NATIVES and D'Vine 1 (Chicago) DJ collectives. Magic’s original production projects include “The Sound of the Music”, “Sonic Natives Are in the Building”, and “Move Somethin” w/Steve Maestro on MMP Records. Some of Magic's remix projects include the SONIC NATIVES collaborative remixes of “All I Needed” by OneDee feat. Deevah on T's Box Records and "Bad Blues" by SillygirlCarmen on Popgang Records.
