Born and reared in the musical mecca of Brooklyn, NY in the '80s, DBOII was taken under the wing of local DJs at a very young age, and was immersed in that world until relocating to the West Coast in 1998. Never letting go of his roots, after finishing high school, he began spinning for South Los Angeles' premier Hip Hip and R&B Radio station 100.3 Fm and eventually became a DJ for Jamie Foxx's Foxxhole Radio while moonlighting as a club DJ, including a residency at the historic Roxy nightclub in Hollywood. After moving on from radio, he started working behind the scenes on musical powerhouse shows like NBC's "The Voice" and FOX's "American Idol." Now, he travels the world with his sound system in-hand, spinning internationally, and has so far brought his musical talents to France, Belgium, Mexico, The Bahamas, Greece, Ireland, Croatia and more, each time collecting different sounds from the locals and broadening his musical repertoire!
