I’m a worrier, a drama queen and a couch activist (which is more about protesting from my couch than protesting for the rights of couches). I am a dreamer and an idealist. I think the world can be solved with cupcakes, hugs, and the words “I love and accept you for you”.

I am in love with the English language. She’s a cruel mistress as fickle as any woman I’ve ever met, and leaves me confused as often as satisfied, but I wouldn’t have her any other way. I strive to understand all of her facets, from grammar to vocabulary; from spoken word to formal written English. I am absolutely obsessed with etymology. I’ve spent hours searching for the official origins and history of interesting words.

I like comics, videogames, wargaming and roleplaying, but I don’t think that that makes me a special or unique kind of woman. I’m not “a geek’s dreamgirl”. I’m sure if half the girls out there took the time to read a good graphic novel or roll a half-elf bard,
