80s & 90s Hair Metal, Glam Metal & Hard Rock with some 70s and post 90s thrown in for good measure, as well as some brand new releases.
Never much a fan of, so called, "hair metal" when it was happening, I am rediscovering the genre now, some 30-40 years after the fact. Because of the driving guitars and drums, there's hardly ever a dud on any given album. Some of the vocals are too shrill, the drums too uninspired, the guitars a bit overboard, the "outfits" bizarre, the makeup... a bit much... and the hair... the hair, is just ridiculous! I don't ONLY play Hair bands, though I do play a lot of them. Overall, it's good, fun, high energy music... and most of all... it's Rock'n Roll!!!
