Mecha Maiko is an experimental synth pop project by Hayley Stewart. She began her musical career as the lead producer and a vocalist for the synthwave act Dead Astronauts between 2011-2016. After leaving the band, she began releasing music and collaborating with the project name "Mecha Maiko." She is currently based in Toronto, Canada.
