Fraize is the alter ego of a Berlin drummer, creative director, filmmaker, copywriter, art director, and editor with over 25 years in the advertising industry. Since 2014, he has worked fully remote — and now calls the coastal town of Biarritz, France, his creative base, where he lives with his wife and their Podenco mix, Balto.

Music has always been part of his life, shaped by a deep love for genre-bending artists like Loose Ends, Scritti Politti, Donald Fagen, Prefab Sprout, and Robin Thicke. His debut EP Permanent Vacation blends 80s-inspired soul grooves with modern pop sensibilities and vintage electronics, reimagined through the lens of AI-powered music production. His songs reflect the rhythm of a creative life lived on his own terms — remote, resilient, and full of analog emotion with a digital twist.
