THE GLORIOUS SOUND OF DUKE REID'S TREASURE ISLE RECORDS

While I’ve got all these lovely Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae 45’s I thought I might as well put them to good use. Here is a compilation of the best of my Treasure Isle / Duke Reid records. It’s not everything – I’ve left quite a few instrumentals off for starters, and I’ve left the Ska off for a separate compilation, so this one covers late 66 to the early 70’s. The artist name spellings are as on the labels. I made a mistake actually by including the same record twice but to be fair I have got it on two different labels. I have taken photos of the label of every record on this mix and they can be found on my Facebook page or my Pete Smith Northern Soul facebook group.
