May Electra broke into the LA music scene in 2008 as a radio host for an online radio station. Tasked with creating the on air playlists for her show, she constantly scoured the internet looking for new music. She also frequently attended concerts and events to do backstage interviews with bands and DJs. Those experiences combined with her lifelong obsession with music, led her to begin creating her own sound as a DJ.
Less than a year later, May Electra had already played at many of the hottest dance venues in the San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles along side many notable DJs/Artists. Her musical style combines the contagious sounds of electro and house into mixes that make people dance. May Electra shortly became one of the most favorite DJs in the LA Underground Electronic Scene.
With her distinct look and high energy, crowd pleasing performances, May Electra will continue to make a name for herself as one of LA’s hottest DJs.
