Maxvei is a Montreal-based DJ and producer whose musical style cannot be defined by a single genre. Tribal rhythms, deep grooves and sexy basslines are his motto. His journey through music made him playfully integrate genres such as Afro House, Deep House, Organic and Tech House in his music.

Introduced to the underground house scene in 2006 at Stereo Nightclub in Montreal, his first influences were Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, DJ Vibe, Peter Bailey, Richie Santana, Danny Tenaglia, D-Unity, Oscar L, Nicole Moudaber, and more recently the rhythms of Joeski and melodies of Hraach, which all played a part in inspiring his music style.

Since his debut in the music scene in 2008, Maxvei has played at venues such as Cafeteria Bar (now SuWu), La Commission des Liqueurs, Club Hype, Kanalbar Montreal, Nebula Dayclub, Traffik Nightclub, Kafeïn Lounge, La Fakulté in Sherbrooke City, Club LaBoom, and more.
