Max Cooper - Essential Mix

I've been listening to Essential mixes since I first started getting into clubs and electronic music. The two hour format really allows some time to explore ideas musically as well.

I decided to make it an exploration of everything that got me so obsessed with electronic music for the last 20+ years, with some favourite records from the mid 90's, unreleased material from my favourite artists like Nils Frahm, Lusine, Tim Hecker and Rob Clouth, and a range of genres from ambient to 90 bpm electronica, house and techno, all the way up to 170bpm glitched jungle mayhem - I thought, why not have some fun with it!?

It's certainly a club mix, just good music without worrying about what genre or box any particular track fits into or how things should be done "properly". I wanted to leave some sections quite ambient as well, to give breathing space between the peaks.
