Was born in Senaoane Soweto, and he attended 1st grade at Isaccson Primary in 1989 and was introduced to music by his father who was a music collector. His older brother got a tape deck and recorded his voice at the age of seven and this has fascinated him and it became a passion that has never faded ever since. Growing up, he was a typical Sowetan boy who listened to what was then called ‘International Music’ and was a fan a of Black Box & Real to Real. His favourite local Dj was Dj Dikgwele who spun cassettes and later on in 1993 he was introduced to Kwaito and Hiphop by his older cousins who had collected records by artists such as Heavy D & The boyz, Salt n Pepper & Nas. He immediately wished to study music but his parents convinced him to finish his matric first. He met Thando Mofokeng aka Psykey Training, Tanki Mosamane and Mlungisi Mkhonza and together they started to record overdubs of on a JVC tape deck and a 45 key-Casio keyboard and that is where he learned to do the basics
