Ancient astronaut theorists believe that Mau's presence was first recorded in ancient Egypt around the time of the construction of the pyramids. Mau (cat, in ancient Egyptian) was reported to have been able to transmute between human and feline forms, with a unique ability to bring forth sounds the likes of which the Egyptians had never heard before.
