Birmingham, United Kingdom
Spent most of my teens and most my 20's a huge drum and bass music fan, spent all the money I had on vinyl and was fortunate to be living in Birmingham, a great home to Drum and Bass in the UK with lots of events and shops. For those that remember Music First in the custard factory this was the best drum and bass only music shop, with the likes of DJ Hazard even working there at the time, who has now gone on to become a Real Playa representing with the legendary DJ Hype on True Playaz / Real Playaz recording. Science presents Storm meets Digital was my first ever rave and I had MC Biggie call my name out to go to the reception as my dad had come to pick me up after he called my friends parents where I was supposed to be staying and found out id gone to a club. I was only 14 at the time lol, but even with the abrupt ending it was an amazing night. Those where the days. Slammin Vinyl, Accelerated Culture, Broken Minds, Pro Session, Autumn, Breakthru, These were the golden days for me.
