Astral Traveling (June 2022)

Hello, and welcome to Astral Traveling. It’s taken a lifetime of listening, and a lockdown of talking, to get to this; my first radio show. Thank you for joining me.

I don’t think I’ve ever bought as many records as frequently as I have during the pandemic. Pre-COVID, I would go into town once a month and do a tour of my favourite record shops; coming home at the end of the day with a great stack of new releases, or unearthed treasures. When the world stopped, like everyone else I took to the Internet to consume new music. Because of the convenience of the digital age, I got into the habit of purchasing as I listened; not waiting until the next trip to pick it up.

So, this month I’m playing some of my top lockdown purchases, as well as several of my all time favourite tracks. And since this is the first show, hopefully it’ll give you a broad idea of the journey we’re embarking on together; but let’s see where the wind takes us.

Stay safe, fellow travellers. And enjoy.
