Carol’s sound is an hypnotic experience that will swing you in the dance floor through its multiple layers combining industrial machinery sounds, cosmic synths, acid and intense dark beats. She seeks her references in 80’s synth pop, dark wave, acid and latin techno. Carol Mattos is resident DJ at Mamba Negra, member of MASTERp la n o collective and has participated in some of the main festivals, clubs and independent parties of Brazil, such as MECA Festival, DGTL São Paulo, Kubik, ODD, Carlos Capslock, MOO(Rio de Janeiro), BLUM, Deputamadre Club, Jerome Club and others. In 2016 she started Sintetica, a party-project made entirely by women that intends to reverse the masculine dominance in the electronic music scene.
