DJ Producer remixer since 1996, “1977” aka Matsa is one of the finest representative of the famous art we call Turntablism. Former crew member of « Turntable Dragunz » (La Cosca, IAM) from Marseille, he worked as consultant for the DMC France & DMC Canada (vidéos, dvds akd mix) for his scratch and amazing skills behind decks. Presenting demo & showcases for years since he played along masters from the musical scene, Techno, House, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz & Funk : Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Moodyman, Josh Wink , Dj Spinna, Dj Vadim, Maceo Parker, Roy Ayers in festivals & clubs around Europe (Les Nuits Sonores Lyon, Marsatac Marseille, Midem Cannes, les Francofolies of Montréal, The Fabrik Live in London, Rex Club Paris, Silencio, Bourbon, Badaboom, Concrete in Paris...) Focusing now on music production from Break beat to Deep House / House and Down tempo… he has joined labels under various names (1977, Greatshell, Mr Matsa, The Pimp, Smokey Bastards)
