IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS MATT (1974):

My father was in his 40's when he married my mother in her 20's. Your probably asking what the relevance of that is.. .. I remember being in the car with my dad and found myself drawn to the sounds of Sinatra, Tony Bennett, etc.. I remember being in the car with my mom and grooving to classic disco and Motown. As a teenager I played guitar jamming out to Led Zeppelin and the Beatles. My musical foundation is enormous and can find beauty in almost all genre's.

Reflecting back in the early 90's, when I would show up to house parties with my Technics turntables and too many records, I was always pushing the envelope on how creative I can be in order to fulfill my musical pallet.
My sets are more like live production rather than spinning. My mixes are designed to take you on musical journey and usually coincides with whats happening at a particular time of my life. You'll find hidden messages and Easter eggs in them.
