Biography
Big Room Drama is a concept and night set up by Matt Capone and Birdsy back in 2004. Sharing a diverse taste in house music they decided to work to together to bring new nights to the Derby clubbing scence.

A Big Room Drama night can encompass many different forms of music ranging from house to techno to club classics.

The first night was born supporting Judge Jules at the legendary Derby Night Progress’s birthday party. The night was such a success that Big Room Drama were invited back to hold down a residency at Progress whose guests included the likes of Eddie Halliwell to Brandon Block and then became famous for hosting the second room and playing extended 12 hour back to back sets known for their diversity.

From there the nights continued to gather pace and they held down a weekly residency at Derby’s highly regarded tonic bar which would be full to capacity week in week out.
