Matcue always had a particular interest in music, and he really got into DJing because of this. He comes from a middle-class, suburban home, where he shuffled his way through the educational system while having this affection to DJing.

His musical influences have mostly been House, Electro and Underground music. His musical style is a generic mix of house and tech-house, mostly chosen from whatever tracks show up on DJ-charts, whatever Beatport suggests when he logs in, and mostly any tracks that his DJ friends mention more than once.

Matcue feels quite good about his infrequent gigs over the past few months, which some people in attendance have described as “surprisingly decent.” He considers it as a big hobby where improvement is a necessity. Matcue was lucky enough to play in a number of clubs around Malta and Gozo. He hasn’t played with any internationally-known DJs (or nationally-known, for that matter), but he always observes them to learn new skills.
