I've been DJing (on & off) since the late 1990's. I learnt alongside with a few of my mates who got into mixing & clubbing at the same time. My original set of decks were a pair of Technics 1210's & a Gemini 626 mixer. Although i had various mixers since then i always kept the same set of turntables (even still have them to this day although they are in the attic now). Due to expense, i was never able to upgrade & ended up having a break reluctantly from mixing for a few years.
This was until last year (2012) when i was completely blown away by the controller market, i'm currently rocking a Pioneer DDJ SX setup. It's completely relighted my passion for mixing again!!!
My music preferences are vast, i like many genres & styles of music. I'm also of the mind that there is never a wrong choice in music!
