Emerging into the musical realms as a self taught guitarist, Matei B. a.k.a Matje has developed his passion for electronic music back in 2008 when he starting spinning as a resident in a local club, initially mixing various genres of house music and then focusing more on the minimal sound. Later on, the chance to warm up the crowd for Nu Zau / Dubsons pops up for him.
The need for a unique sound appears, therefore he starts producing in 2014 and releases his first digital EP and now his first vinyl release on Otaku Records is just around the corner, with early support from Cezar, Dubtil, Priku, tINI & more at Sunwaves, Miortimic, Picnic Fonic festivals.
He becomes an international artist after a trip in Belgium, where he performs twice at Villabota radio station and also gets booked at several underground raves. Then he moves to the UK and after several gigs in London, Birmingham, Brighton, he becomes a Meoko resident, thus taking his dream to the next level.
