Pianist and composer Matej Meštrović was born in Zagreb in 1969 . He started learning music in his sixth year...At the Croatian Music Days in 1985, he was the youngest composer taking part.At the Music Bienniale Zagreb in 1991 he appeared with American New Age harpist Georgia Kelly and in 1993 with the group of musicians known as In Ripples.In April 1998 he composed the music for a 360-degree projection film directed by Vinko Brešan, One Day on the Croatian Coast, which was shown at the Lisbon Expo in 1998. There he also took part in the making of the exhibition and the furnishing of the Croatian pavilion, for which he won the City of Zagreb Prize.In 2005 he won a prize for the best tourist film in all categories at The international festival Tourfilm 2005 in Poznań.In 2004 he created the custom-designed record entitled Sounds of Velebit that, with the journal National Geographic, was distributed in a pressing of 45.000....
