Born in 1982, in Toulouse, Matal has been taking an active part in the underground techno movement since 2000. Very quickly, he set up a sound system : EFORIK. Inspired by the minimal trend in German techno, as developed by the record label PARSEC, he turned his mixes towards techno mental and acid. In 2007, after having organized musical events for 7 years in many countries, he could be found on the stages of major festivals, such as Slovtek, in Slovakia, Freekency, in Portugal, or Alternasonar, in Spain. Within the context of the electronic music boom, he refined his style, which became more melodic and surprising in its construction, blending acid and house, or break and minimal.
In a spirit based on sharing and cheerfulness, he tends to export his music as much as he can.
